So many people are looking for some type of fast fat loss that they are willing to go to almost any length in order to try to lose significant amounts of weight in as short a time as possible. Starving yourself, however, only has some effects in the beginning, because after you have lost some weight initially your metabolism starts to slow and you end up gaining that weight back on even if you are dieting. Cardio is going to help you see more immediate results, but strength training is what is going to continue to shed the pounds even after you are done exercising.
Start with some type of exercise workout like an exercise bike or a treadmill. Exercise bikes tend to be less taxing, so you can be on them for longer, and some exercise bikes also have good resistance so that you can increase muscle mass in the process.
Then go straight to strength training. There is a lot of debate on the topic, but it seems as though the best types of exercises are lower resistance, more repetition, because you are constantly moving which will help you burn off more pounds.
Diet
After you exercise, you need to worry about your diet. If you do not eat, or you do not eat healthy, your metabolism will slow. What you want to have are foods with no fat – not because fat helps you gain weight (even though it does) but because it also causes your body to process food slower, and you want to make sure that the food you are eating is processed as quickly as possible.
Try to look towards high protein foods, as well as healthy carbohydrates like whole wheat bread and natural pastas. This will give you the energy you need for the next workout and will also help make sure that your muscles retain their strength, which will result in greater weight loss.
But eating the right foods and performing a regular muscle workout, you can easily experience fast fat loss. It takes a strong commitment, but it is the healthiest and easiest way to lose weight quickly as well as keep the weight off.
