How to Lose Back Fat

Most people who suffer from back fat absolutely abhor it.  While it obviously isn’t the end of the world, it can be quite frustrating and embarrassing for both men and women. Because men generally have no problem going shirtless, it is very difficult to hide the rolls of fat ones on one’s back and so men who  do have this problem often forgo going shirtless even though they would like to.  For women, not having this part of the body toned can make certain outfits appear unattractive making a woman very self-conscious. She may even try to avoid being seen naked by her own husband. Fortunately, it is possible to lose back fat

Weight training is also a very important part of the exercise component to help you get rid of back fat.  Lifting weights help to burn fat and build muscle.  The more muscle you have, the more fat your body will burn on its own and at rest.


You will also need to change your diet.  If you eat lots of fatty, fried and sugary foods this will have to change. Replacing these food choices with lean proteins, low-fat dairy, complex carbs and whole grains will allow you to lose weight and eliminate your trouble spots.

Lastly, you will need to be consistent and committed. Because you did not develop fat overnight, it will likely take you some time to reduce it.  Of course this will depend on your individual body type, metabolism and muscle mass.  It is very important for you not to give up and become frustrated. Instead, you need to come up with a plan that works for you, consume healthier foods and be committed to the process of losing weight. If you do, you should experience results that you are pleased with.

If you follow the above advice, you should see good results. However, it is important to remember that everyone’s body is difficult. Some people will naturally carry more fat on certain parts of their body no matter what they do.  This is due to genetics. The only thing that you can do is your best and then let the chips fall where they will.
